Okay, so it's been a while.

I'm not the best at writing constant emails - although I'm not sure you're looking for more emails in your inbox anyway. So here's the first one in a while and hopefully it's coming at the right time!

If you've been following along on the @elaboratethings instagram you may or may not have noticed some subtle hints at something new coming along. Well, we're finally *almost* ready to share with the online community what this is - but not yet.

I walk a fine line of balance between wanting to make sure something is done right and over-delivering on what is promised, and just starting before you're ready and going for it.  With websites, and working with people on creating their online personalities - making sure things are done right is so important.

However, I know that you can't create a "perfect" product without some testing in the real world and hence - this email. We've been cautiously working on some custom Wordpress themes with the Simply Elaborate style and while I'm also creating a video-series that will allow you do a complete brand overhaul yourself (with guided help from yours truly) as well as the technical stuff - we need some real-world business-owners that need a Wordpress theme NOW.

Below are direct links to the themes we've got so far (and starting with) and you're the first to see them! Congrats ;)

If you or someone you know is looking for a new theme, a lite-brand refresh or needs a website re-haul, without the big budget - check out the links and fill out the application form, or reply to this email with any questions.

These themes aren't going to be for everyone. And they are best for those who say yes to the following:

- I already have my content for my website, just don't know where to put it!
- I already have images ready to go, or willing to invest in stock photography.
- I have a logo already, or want a text-based logo refresh.
- I have the time to devote to setting this up, receiving constructive criticism and doing the work.
- I communicate really well, often and clearly.
- I'm raring to go with a new website - this has been a long time coming.

If you're resonating with these statements, fill out the application form and let's get started.

What Are YOU Waiting For?

what will you do differently today?

Although they say that having a set morning routine is one of the healthy habits of highly successful people, I can't give a concrete "this is what I do every morning" plan to someone who asks. There are the staples that I make sure I do, but generally it is highly based on what I have on the agenda for the day and how I feel when that alarm goes off.

Today, my morning routine consisted of reading through the new Crazy, Sexy, Juice recipe book by Kris Carr, sipping my coffee with a recording of The Goldbergs playing in the background (I've been sick for the past week, so my morning routines aren't exactly what you would call "that of a highly successful person" right now) and a commercial came on that actually grabbed my attention.

It was for the iPhone 6s and its capabilities: Did you know that the thing takes pictures that move? Not a video: you take a picture, it actually records it briefly, you then set your image as your iPhone wallpaper or whatever and then when you want to see it, show a friend, you touch the photo and it start moving on its own. Briefly, like for 3-5 seconds. But it's not a video.

I watched in awe not because I've previously thought it is impossible (I mean, it's 2016) but for the fact that it reminded me of one of the cute details from the Harry Potter series that J.K. Rowling included as a cool, amazing feature of the Wizard-ing world she created. And then – bam – it's actually available, at your fingertips. No magic required.

It got me thinking about anything that's been created, has been pushed through the idea phase and actually formed into a real, tangible thing in this world. Someone had an idea, and followed through. They probably told a friend, family member, business partner about the idea and were probably shut down – hardcore – but they kept going.

We fly through the air in planes.
We can go on a boat across the Atlantic.
We can communicate with Australia (and vice versa) for the price of our internet service at home.
They're putting Wifi in cars (still on the fence with how I feel about that one).
They've already put Wifi in planes.
We're cloning! We're actually cloning. Already. In 2016.  I thought cloning was totally going to be a 2030+ thing.

Anyway, the point is – do you know how many people I talk to throughout the day that have an idea about something and yet they are too afraid it's dumb, won't work or is not needed?  They don't even want to try.

The first initial reaction is fear that it won't get accepted. The idea, the product, the service – whatever. My heart seriously pains when I hear this – wanna know why? Because there are 7.4 billion people on this earth right now. 7.4 billion.

Do you know if only 1% of that number was interested in the idea for them it's 74,000,000? That's a lot.

It's not even about the number, or the exposure of the idea/service, it's about overcoming the fear and doing what you want anyway because what is the point of living among the 7.4 billion people if you aren't happy with what you're doing? Or aren't passionate about what you believe in? Just do the thing that you love and who cares what people think, or their opinions of whether it'll work, or anything else.

I repeat: We're cloning things now. Not just things, but organs even. We're cloning parts of our bodies, people.

If this world is capable of that, you can sell slogan t-shirts on weekends if it makes you happy.  This guy did it. He used to write a blog about his roommates in college making beer pong devices and their drunken shenanigans. Now, he's a prominent high-end photographer and started this business on the side, which now accounts for him and his wife's main source of income.

Even if it's not about the money, and just about doing what makes you happy: What are you waiting for? And then: Why are you waiting for it? Seriously, let me know (you can just hit reply or if you prefer Skype or Phone Call action we can schedule a time to chat about it.)

I'd love to hear from you.
